Payroll, Super & Single Touch Payroll (STP)

Businesses are now required to report to the ATO payroll details after every pay. To do this businesses will need to use Single Touch Payroll (STP) enabled software. There will be no need to prepare Payment Summaries at the end of the financial year anymore as this information will be reported to the ATO in real time.

Managing payroll and understanding obligations regarding salary, leave entitlements, tax, super and employee records is hard enough as it is and keeping inaccurate records can prove costly especially when this is being reported to the ATO in real time.

The ATO’s systems are now also linked with the systems of the super funds meaning at any time the ATO will know if and when employee super has been paid to the funds. Did you know that super which is not paid on time cannot be claimed as a tax deduction? You are also now required to lodge and pay super to a super clearing house and not directly to your employees’ fund.

Our payroll, super and STP services will ease the compliance burden faced by you as a business owner, we will undertake a full check of the processes and procedures you have in place and make sure you meet the minimum compliance requirements.

Give us a call or email us to find out how we can take the stress out of your Payroll and STP obligations.
